CONSCIOUSNESS TO CREATION
Universal Consciousness as I have discussed in my other essays is "knowing" without identity. So how does this knowing create the manifested Universe? Let's start with the duality of consciousness. As you well know there are opposites with everything. Good and bad, up and down, fear and bravery, positive and negative, light and dark. You cannot truly understand one aspect of creation without an opposing aspect to lend definition to the other, and vice versa. There is light (burning stars) and there is dark (empty space). One represents the burning desire to know more, the other the cool understanding of what is known. And as you will see shortly, both light and space are two sides of the same coin.
In the initial state where consciousness is beginning to bud there is the fabric of space. I say "fabric" because although we currently have no instrumentation to measure it, it is in fact a medium, a medium of pure potential. It's frictionless yet super elastic. Matter can be pulled out of this fabric almost ad infinitum (Black Holes are a good example). But the very first measurable manifestation of this fabric is light. White light, since it encompasses the entire spectrum. I believe the Path of Illumination pertains to this very topic. Not just a questor's search for enlightenment, it may just as easily refer to the transition from formlessness to form.
Why light? Because at the most basic level, "knowing" or "awareness" is illuminating, like the light bulb thought bubble over an animated figure's head in a cartoon. It is revealing. We cannot see without light. It is a perfect representation of consciousness in the simplest expression possible. No other medium or property could convey the concept as well. There is no shadow, no uncertainty with light. There is nothing which can hide within its glow. No error and no doubt. Light is consciousness. Consciousness is light.
So what are the properties of light? Well, for starters it has motion. But not erratic motion, as the nature of consciousness can only find meaning if it is orderly. Therefore the motion of light is uniform with a definite top and bottom. Without a range or limit to the motion it would lose its ability to travel and soon stop. So we can see from the properties of light in the known Universe it has an incredible ability to travel on (literally) forever across space time which it can only do if it has a fixed wavelength.
You might be thinking, "Einstein described light existing in the form of photons" or quantized particles! This is true, but in actuality, light is a wave exhibiting the properties of a particle and not particles moving in a wave. Think of the crests of the waves (from the fabric of space) as being the only visible component of the wave. Light moves in this way because as already mentioned the wavelength is fixed. And in order for that wavelength to move uniformly, it must have direction or a guide, which it does in the presence of a magnetic field (positive and negative poles). The poles act like a rudder for the light wave forcing it to move in a straight line.
Essentially as consciousness begins to find expression it is guided forward by these oppositional poles which are the duality of creation. All life forms exhibit this quality once they recognize something previously unrecognized. They develop a strong desire to fully explore the experience and revel in their new found understanding. They don't want to let go until they've exhausted all the experience has to offer. This is how light moves through our Universe. It bubbles forth from the medium of space as consciousness commences initial expansion. All of space has this potential, to express itself as matter. When it is calm it appears as a vacuum, but when it is disturbed it resonates as matter. It can only be this way. Think of space as a body of water which is mostly calm except for a gentle breeze sending ripples of light across its surface. Light moves through space because it manifests from the medium or matrix of space. When the breeze is really strong the waves are very choppy and matter forms. So space, light and matter all have the same source of creation or manifestation. See this website which describes in detail this very principle.
So now we know that consciousness unexpressed is the vacuum of space, and as it finds expression it manifests as light. But where does it go from there? Well, because light is a wave with magnetic properties, then it is electro-magnetic and appearing to us as photonic, or fixed-sized particles in a wave. These "particles" eventually come into close enough contact with charged particles which begin to pull them off course. The closer they come together the more they pull. Eventually the pull is so great they deviate fully from their path and collapse into spherical orbits (or atomic particles called electrons). A charge develops because now one pole is exposed on the surface of the orbit, and the other pole is contained within the orbit. Hence the reason why electrons exhibit a negative charge (the positive charge is contained within). For a complete review of how particles form I recommend reading Vernon Brown. He explains succinctly how photons create all nuclear material, starting with electrons. Under the right conditions electrons will collapse around other particles forcing upon them smaller and denser orbits. These smaller particles become heavier protons and neutrons which form ever stronger nuclear bonds and eventually form complete atoms. These interacting forces and their magnetic pull on surrounding particles is where gravity comes from. There is no special particle which gives us gravity. No Higgs-Boson. The nature of gravity is an inherent property of the forces involved in the formation of matter. Simple.
So very quickly we have come from the formless consciousness of space, to the manifestation of light, and finally to the formation of matter, and all without the need for any highly complex sciences as described by quantum physics, string theory, dark matter or dark energy. And with matter we have the building blocks of all creation, a lot of which science has already figured out. Anyone can understand the nature of the Universe and that is how it must be. Ockham's Razor suggests that the simplest solution is usually the right one. And so it is with the formation of the Universe from Universal Consciousness.
